This e-learning training course, the Migration in Countries in Crisis (MICIC), is aimed at providing details on measures that embassies, consulates and other relevant home country actors can help bridge some of these barriers and covers actions by State actors of the migrants’ country of origin who are mandated with assisting their nationals abroad; in particular, in times of crisis. Its main target comprises staff from foreign services posted in host locations (e.g. consular and diplomatic staff, labour attaches) as well as at capital (in particular, those that are mandated with planning and providing emergency services).
The e-learning course is co-organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia and the International Organization for Migration.
