International relations and diplomacy are the phenomena of the state’s interactions with the purpose of understanding the unique relationships and their impact on international politics, law, and economics, security, diplomacy, and governance, and are typically focused more narrowly around the process of conducting negotiations between representatives of different nations. Be aware of these important subjects, the Royal Government of Cambodia (GRC) is promoting foreign policy to ensure that national interests and Cambodian people are well protected, including reaffirming Cambodian diplomats’ capability and efficiency.

Throughout the visionary, the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) was established under the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, which aims to build professionalism of Cambodian career diplomats through capacity development so as to enable them to cope with the increasingly challenging world of diplomatic affairs and particularly to enhance Cambodia's ownership and role in regional and global affairs. Diplomats in the digital era have to be well prepared for tactical policy coordination and cooperation to networking and connecting the relationships between one state to another, especially to respond to the emergence of fast diplomacy and multidisciplinary stakeholders and policy dossiers.
